Our apartment at Grey Street had what we thought was a solid market value of about $850,000. However, on the day there were 2 buyers advocates and it sold for $1,053,000!
The buyers advocates both represented buyers from Hong Kong. I presume the only way they could see the property was via the agent’s photos. If there had been no furnishings they would have been looking at 4 pics of the inside of a white box with a grey floor. No indication of the apartments potential, no sense of scale and zero sizzle.
Your fit-out looks to me as having been a critical factor in its sale.
I’m glad we took the advice to use you gals (plus 2 guys)
And on a minimum brief the aesthetic hit the spot.
